If there are many bears, could handlers get by with multiple sets of rotating battery packs, or will drone utilization be so great that more than one drone would be needed? The costs you list are for a single drone implementation and a single set of batteries. What is the harm done to the bears if they only forage for a fraction of the time they do naturally? What are the drawbacks of doing nothing? ![]() How do you mitigate for bears learning to associate flying drone presence with the existence of food for foraging? Are they really foraging for food if they learn to track drones’ flights after that association is made? ![]()
