![]() ![]() Before I switched to PI, I used DSS and PSP (older version X6) exclusively. I have PSP and still use it but no longer for astro-images. PSP has 99% of the capability of PS it just uses different menus and methods but isn't too hard to mentally translate PS instructions to PSP steps. There are then lots of tutorials on using PhotoShop for post-processing. ![]() You will not likely be able to find a full tutorial for using PaintShopPro but there are lots of tutorials on using DSS for generation of the initial stack. Then you can save the resulting stacked image from DSS and take it into PaintShopPro (PSP) or PhotoShop (PS) or other image processing application for post-processing. Many use DeepSkyStacker (DSS) for the calibration, preprocessing, and image integration (stacking) steps. is your one source for the best computer and electronics deals.
